Euroinvest Intermed to invest in two real estate projects

Swiss Euroinvest Intermed plans to invest over EUR 380 million in two real estate projects, in Bucharest and Brasov, the company said. The first project, Grand Arena mall in Bucharest, will open at the end of 2008, following an investment of EUR 187 million.
The company financed Grand Arena project from its own resources and loans from Bancpost and UniCredit.
The mall will include a Carrefour hypermarket and a Flanco IT retail store. Grand Arena could be sold following completion, said the company’s CEO, Lucien Harfi.
